Shop safely
Pause and verify if a payment request does not match your order.
Check before you pay
Open the shop from a bookmark or a known address. Check the order number, amount and payee in your order before transferring. If a message asks you to pay a different account, stop and contact the shop through its published contact details.
Protect your account
Do not give anyone your password, full card details or one-time verification codes. Do not install remote-control software or operate an ATM because a caller claims your order, instalment or refund needs fixing.
If something looks wrong
Stop the payment and keep the message and transaction records. Contact the shop using its published contact details. If you have already paid, contact your bank or payment provider promptly. In Taiwan, call 165 for anti-fraud assistance.
